Storage Appliance Corporation and Polaroid recognized for excellence in design and engineering

Toronto, Canada - March 30, 2007 - Storage Appliance Corp. (www.storage-corp.com), inventors of “ClickFreeTM” backup technology for consumers, along with Polaroid Corporation, a Petters Group Worldwide company, have been awarded an Innovations Award for excellence in design and engineering at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show.

Storage Appliance’s breakthrough technology enables consumers to back up photos from their personal computer by simply plugging the device into a USB port. It immediately searches the computer for all digital images and copies them over to the device without having to install or configure any software.

“We are extremely proud of being recognized for this technology; our intent all along was to make the backup process ultra simple so that everyone can protect their precious memories,” says Ian Collins, CEO, Storage Appliance Corp. “Simply plug the device into the USB port and backup begins automatically searching and storing all your photos, it’s that simple.”

Storage Appliance’s ClickFreeTM technology (patent pending) assures the user of a simple and easy process, and eliminates the frustration of backup, making it ideal for end users with little computer knowledge.

In addition to backing up photos, the device has several convenient features such as online capability to photo Web sites for sharing and printing photos. Other convenient features include being able to home print and burn a CD from the device, as well as create wallpaper from your photos with a touch of a button.

Research shows half of all consumers don’t back up their data at all because they are afraid of the technology. The balance of consumers who back up infrequently rely mostly on CDs to store copies of their files, including photos, which is an inconvenient and time-consuming process.
