The need for SIP Security

Voice and data are converging and SIP has emerged as the dominant session protocol for real-time Internet-based (IP) communications.  BorderWare’s SIPassure is designed to secure and manage the dynamic nature of real-time SIP communications.  SIPassure empowers enterprises to deploy real-time messaging, voice, data, video and other SIP-based applications securely and with confidence. SIPassure provides comprehensive protection against threats with a range of controls, including unique session profiling technology that prevents spam and Denial-of-Service attacks.

"We are honored to be a winner of the Innovation Driver Award”, said Peter Cox, Vice President BorderWare Technologies and one of the speakers at security zone.  “This award recognises both the commercial value of SIPassure and the high level of technical innovation needed to implement effective security for SIP based applications.  The level adoption of these applications continues to grow as do the risks of deployment. Much like email, SIP-enabled communications are susceptible to a variety of threats that are designed to halt business operations.  BorderWare is committed to making all types of Internet communications safe.  SIPassure is part of our larger platform strategy designed to provide customers with easy management and security at the perimeter of their networks.”
